Lightbulb Inviting guest to visit my own Zaishen Menagerie?

I am not sure if there is any post like this is already exist, so I am posting this here.

Although I know everyone's Zaishen Menagerie looks exactly the same, even layout and location for each pet, I still believe it would be fun to allow player to bring visitors to his or her Zaishen Menagerie while guests' capturing skill is disabled preventing guests from doing easy captures.

The reason for this is that I have friend came to my home and saw my completed Zaishen Menagerie and decided to start collecting pets he never would. So it might be a good idea to allow players bringing friends to Zaishen Menagerie so they can introduce this interesting feature of GW and compare collections on interest.

As long as charm animal is locked, and we know they can lock skills. I don't see any problem with having anyone visiting the menagerie.

Nice for roleplayers.

If it is just for showing, no objection here.

If I can't charm animals there also - I don't care for any changes.
Considering that the additional work on ZM would mean that they can NOT do something else - I will rather support them doing something else.

i don't think it's very hard or complicated to do and it might be fun to visit others' menageries, just to take a peek. /signed unless it really requires hours of work.

If it is not too complicated to do, perhaps locking guests' charm animal would be sufficient. If it is hard to do conditional skill lock, locking everyone's charm animal would be another way to get around it XD

Not sure it would be possible. The only skill locks I am aware of are PvE skills in PvP areas, skills for campaigns you don't own gotten through a trial, and more than 3 PvE skills. Since Charm Animal is not a PvE skill, and not restricted by campaign, there is nothing that would cause it to be locked. And since they never lock skills based on party formation, if they locked one persons, they would lock all players. That, of course, would defeat the whole purpose of the Menagerie.

The point of having this is quite small. I really could care less about seeing someone else's Menagerie. I could care less if someone else saw mine. The HoM has a LITTLE intrigue to it for people to want to see someone else's, but the Menagerie?

I'd like this option.

The menagerie is such a peaceful setting that it would be nice to bring friends there if you just wanted to goof off, but didn't want to meet in the bustle of a busy city.
